Corey T. Aiken Sr. was born in Charleston, South Carolina and was raised in a Christian home. He is a loving husband, father, pastor and businessman. He currently serves as the Lead Pastor of Grace Community Church of Charleston.
A prophet from the womb, those who have embraced the ministry of Bishop Aiken identify him as a passionate, relevant and inspiring orator of the Gospel. His experience in ministry started when he was just 4 years old when he began to sing and speak in the church under the ministry of his spiritual father and life mentor, the Late Bishop Arthur Doctor Sr., of the New Greater Zion Pentecostal Holiness Church Inc, located in Charleston SC.
After overcoming the lure of the streets of Charleston and the riches of this world, Bishop Aiken rededicated his life to the Lord and has walked closely with God ever since. Known for his accuracy in the prophetic realm and his passionate preaching, he has been graced with a unique anointing that embraces the foundational teachings and principles of old, while being simultaneously being progressive and innovative to reach the generations of today. His ministry is one that is highly sought after for conferences, revivals, seminars and more.
Aside from his spiritual gifts and talents, Bishop Aiken has also excelled academically. In 2016, he graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA with a Bachelors of Science in Religion. He has since returned to school and currently attends Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary as he pursues a Masters of Theology.
In August of 2017, after many years of diligently serving several local ministries, the Lord spoke to Bishop Aiken and his wife Jerrica Aiken about planting a new ministry in his hometown of Charleston, SC. Through much prayer the Grace Community Church of Charleston officially launched on January 7, 2018 and the ministry is thriving and growing daily. The church currently meets at 8484 Dorchester Road Suite 8-A, North Charleston, SC 29420 on Sunday's at 9am and Wednesdays at 7pm.
Bishop Aiken is happily married to the former Ms. Jerrica Green. Together they have four beautiful children: Jeshawn, Corey Jr., and Carson.
